About This Course

This course exposes students to the dynamics of communication in relation to leadership in contemporary contexts. In particular, communication concepts and best practice will be applied to the tasks of leadership; like communicating vision, leading teams, intercepting entropy, and other challenges of organizational leadership.

The cost for the certificate is $300 (USD) for participants from the United States and Canada. International participants may qualify for a discounted rate of $100 (USD). Please enter INTERNATIONAL in the coupon code box at checkout if you qualify as an international participant.

Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this course successful students will be better able to lead. They will demonstrate ability to examine leadership styles and adopt effective leadership communication. Review the preliminary syllabus for additional details.

What is required to get your certificate?

The Global Leadership Certificate is issued by The Global Leadership Summit and endorsed by Wheaton College. In order to receive the certificate, students must attend both days of the Global Leadership Summit on August 9-10, 2018, and the Wheaton College portion of the course on August 11 at your registered location. The doors will open at 8:00 AM (Central Time) with the course starting at 8:30 AM. We will closely follow this schedule and will finish promptly at 4:00 PM.

Course work includes reading done in advance of GLS, as well as assignments that will be due within six weeks following the GLS. Students must be able to effectively communicate and write in English.
